Best out of the box Chaos Terminators load-out. I am planning on taking 15 Black legion terminators in their specialist detachment. one unit of 10 and a unit of five. Cypher10110 • 5 mo. ago I like it. It's a very simple kit, really. But it still has loads of customization and personality. The only stuff I ever thought was tricky with older CSM kits was when you need to glue each arm separately and then the gun, but you also need to line them up without natural guides.

Currently on the GW website there are 4 models with a left handed combi weapon. 1 Generic chaos lord, with one mutated on to his arm, a Nightlords guy (with combi flamer) Chaplain Cassius (again combi flamer) and Commander Azreal with combi plasma.

Their relic, Maelstrom's Bite, is also an outrageously powerful combi-melta, with a Rapid-Fire 3 S5 D2 bolter and a S9 meltagun. This is a great toy to give to a Warpsmith (because he's cheap and BS2+), Terminator Sorcerer, or Chaos Lord on Bike (to get access to beta bolter rules).

Terminators in New Codex, Combi Weapons I know there is frustration with the leak change of options but I think Terminators look interesting, different use now but interesting. What do you think about their load out options? I actually think a full squad of each combi weapon, so 1 x Plasma, 2 x Melta, 2 x Flamer looks interesting.

The upside is that meltaguns came down 4 points, so taking two on a squad of bikes is a decent proposition (plus a combi-melta on the champion). 9th Ed CSM Tactics: Combi-Melta Terminators. One of the key CSM units to avoid a point inflation, Chaos Terminators with Chainaxe and Combi-Melta actually came DOWN 5ppm. For a measly 34 points, you're getting a deep-striking death machine that can make excellent use of Endless Cacophony and Veterans of the Long War.

If you are going for an anti-nid/ork army, go with power armor, khorne mark, wings, khorne daemon weapon, and maybe add a combi-plasma for that chance-shot against the inevitable tyrant or carnifex, if your lucky, brood lord. In the end, as awsomely awsome the terminator lord plastic is, GW destroyed all the wonderful options in the old dex.
